"Ensemble" is a assemblage consist of 3 works from artist Wee Jia Foong, Yu Kah Man and Joanne Yee. Pulsing alpha 003 is one of the works that makes up the asssemblage. Ensemble actively seeks to involve the audience in the interplay of light and sound to create a harmonized audio-visual experience through tactile manipulation. Although constructed mainly from mundane objects such as light bulbs and strings, the use of technology allows the audience to trigger the various components of the installation to create a collaborative piece which stimulates the human sensory experience as well as consequently exploring unorthodox uses of these everyday objects. This emphasizes the role of the audience not just as a spectator but also as another instrument in creating poetry between light, sound and motion.
